Proteus 555 Timer illustration to turn On/Off LEDs

555 Timer can be used for generating pulses that can be used for producing clock signals at certain regular time interval. The signal can then be used to control external circuit outputs such as LEDs or motors. 555 Timer can be stimulated with Proteus program to turn on and off external leds that are connected to it.

Shown below is the schematic of applying 555 Timer to turn On and Off LEDs-


In the schematic diagram above, when the SPST switch is pressed the two leds D1 and D2 turns on and off alternatively in certain time interval. This is controlled by the 555 Timer which is fed with 9V power supply and connected with the control circuitary as shown above.
